AASHRM was established in 1948 and covers Anderson, South Carolina and the surrounding area. Meetings offer the opportunity to stay abreast of workplace issues and legislation and to share ideas with other professionals concerned with Human Resource Administration.

The AASHRM Mission

The Society exists to offer continuous opportunities to members, the companies they represent, and the community, to effectively learn, develop, and apply requisite skills and competencies by:

• Offering continuous opportunities to learn new management skills and develop competencies in members and the companies they represent.
• Providing opportunities to exchange information, ideas, processes, and systems among professionals engaged in the management of people.
• Representing the people in our work force in the community decisions that impact their ability to successfully compete in a global economy.
